Here at Magicard we support our local charity, Weldmar Hospicecare. Many employees have loved ones which have received their fantastic care and support. Magicard hold employee raffles and social events throughout the year to raise funds, whilst supporting and sponsoring many of Weldmar’s own charity events.
Weldmar Hospicecare is a Dorset charity providing specialist end of life care for local people who are living with a life limiting illness, including conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, and heart disease. They also support their loved ones throughout what can be one of life’s most difficult journeys.
Weldmar Hospicecare provides this care throughout the west, south, and north of Dorset with teams of Weldmar Community Nurses, a Weldmar at Home service and an Inpatient Unit situated in beautiful grounds in Dorchester.
As well as their doctors and nurses, their approach to providing specialist care extends to services such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and the Patient and Family Support Services team is there to help patients, their carers, and loved ones through this difficult time.
As a patient or family member receiving support may see many different staff with various roles throughout their care, photo ID is able to reassure patients and give instant recognition and security of being a professional within the Weldmar Team.
