Magicard joins SCALA at the eID conference in Bogotá, Colombia to promote the next generation of secure eID credentials making it easier for federal and state agencies to integrate government services to their citizens while making more efficient ways for their identity authentication. The key driver for governments to implement eID credentials is interoperability, which can be achieved through SCALA’s GENUeiD specification. GENUeiD integrates all industry best practices, standards, and recommendations. Future countries will be able to authenticate each other’s identity, helping to eliminate fraud and create reciprocal recognition agreements, facilitation the interaction of cultures, businesses and diplomatic relations.
