Magicard has sponsored a Centre of Excellence for Industrial Liaison (CEIL) at a college local to it’s UK HQ.
The CEIL was introduced by Marcel Ciantar, Director of Enterprise at Budmouth College in Dorset, UK. This effective training model was created to give students the edge as they learn to develop the skills necessary for the world of work. This involves students working in an office environment, giving them the autonomy to learn how to manage themselves effectively while at school.
It has grown significantly since it began in 2011 and proves just how much these schemes are needed nationally.

“We’ve seen some really impressive students come out of CEIL over the last few years. Some of those students are now making a great contribution to our business.
“We’re really pleased to be backing the scheme and hope the relationship continues for years to come – the potential for national and international growth is clear, who knows where Marcel and the CEIL team could take this.”
Magicard has also helped by offering young people practice interviews and workshops. This can act as a way of broadening the students’ horizons as to what job opportunities exist after education.
